Clinton, Edwards, Plan to run for President in 2008
Yahoo News Story ^ | 11-02-2004

Hillary Clinton and John Edwards, already running for president in 2008.

According to this story, running on my front page Internet news. That is.

Glad to hear about this news. That gives me time to prepare everybody I know to vote for a Republican, in 2008.

In case the Democratic National Party, hasn't noticed, most Americans have moral values and cannot be bought off.

(sorry about the personal views, it's the first time I ever tried to paste in my web browser, and then I forgot the exact wording of the story. But, the gist of it is there to see in the link.)

Not sure this would be a good ticket. By this time Edwards will have been out of poitics for 4 years since he has lost his Senate seat. We'll see.

This is the first I head about Edwards planning a run again. But the Hillary story has been out there all day. Edwards will be forgotten by then. Hillary is the one we have to look out for.

Make that a twofer of loosers.

Shrillary lost her seat (no pun intended) in the Senate 2 years prior.

Let's see now....the last senator to run for, and win, the presidency, was Kennedy..nearly a half-century agop. Senators make lousy candidates. This year, two-thirds of the Dems in the primaries were senators. Most self-destructed, but the Dems nominated two for the ticket. They lsot, so wat do they want to do next time..nominate a sitting senator, and/or another former senator who couldn't have won re-election, if he ran...There's an old adage about insanity meanig doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a differetn result..

We should redirect this thread to choices for Edwards' motto when he runs in 2008:

Edwards '08, because 2 strikes isn't enough for him. He wants to strike out.

Edwards '08, because someone has to be a bigger loser than Al Gore.

One of them is going to be playing with a voodoo doll. And it isn't the Breck Girl.

I thought Edwards's speech today was his candidacy announcement for POTUS in 2008.

Edwards is finished politically. He was incredibly disappointing (I loved his ineptitude, however), and although the darling of the plaintiff bar, he drew less than tepid reviews from the Democratic powers that be. He has no real experience and won't get any more between now and 2008. Clinton will swat him like a fly.

PS: He has the wrong wife, too.

Edwards would be horrible, one of the things John Kerry would probably change if he could would be choosing edwards, I think that edwards didn't want to run this time, he probably want to get re-elected and run in 2008, 2012 or maybe even 2016. He'll have only six years of experience, be out for 4 years and it will probably come out more that edwards was a bad choice.

I was figuring Obama for BP if he's still the darling of the Democratic Party. Hillary has already started running for 2008.

The former first lady has plenty of name recognition and a wide following. But some analysts suggest she could meet the same fate as Kerry as a liberal senator from a Northeastern state, despite the years she spent in Arkansas. "She's already known. The public is already polarized around her," said political analyst Stuart Rothenberg.

We will take from you to give to them!

They can both get their hair done by the same person and save a couple bucks on the tip. That's right, Hillary doesn't tip.
