It is with profound relief and gratitude to all the volunteers, voters, the Swift Vets for Truth, campaign staff, etc., that I type up today's edition of A Day in the Life of the Re-elected President Bush.
As we now know, Bush received more votes than any previous US president, America saw a record voter turnout, and the US Congress picked up votes to increase the GOP margin in both Houses. Mandate? YES!
Stocks surged Wednesday, with the Dow Jones industrials posting a triple-digit gain moments after the opening bell, as investors expressed relief following the election and
victory for President Bush.
Some international reaction: Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday said an election victory by President Bush would strengthen the United States and benefit their countries.

There was just too much fraud for us to beat. I truly believe without the bussing of outsiders and the duplicate votes, WI would have gone for Pres. Bush.

Gretchen, thanks for posting this (and for all the good work you do for us). We were robbed of a victory celebration in 2000, so I'm revelling in every minute of this one.

There's a *bio* of the steer on the Whitehouse.gov site. I think her name is Ophelia?

(WE are now the Mainstream - Enjoy)
President Bush Thanks Americans in Wednesday Acceptance Speech. I wanted to include this in the opening quote but the WH site locked up on me. "A new term is a new opportunity to reach out to the whole nation.
We have one country, one Constitution and one future that binds us. And when we come together and work together, there is no limit to the greatness of America."
Oh yes, also wanted to say the Iraqi government said shortly after W's re-election was certain, that they will hold their parliamentary elections the last week in January, 2005 -- shortly after W is inaugurated for his SECOND term.

Anyone seen pictures of the longhorn. When Gretchen gives the all clear, I'll post one for you. But if you don't want to wait, look in the kids section on the White House website. If I remember right, it's a cow named Ophelia, BTW, not a steer.

It's a great day for cows. Someone said W. had three pets - a dog, a cat and a longhorn steer. Anyone seen pictures of the longhorn? No, but he's also got a lake, full of nice bass, they should count right? LOL

It's a great day! Our beloved President was gracious, eloquent and emotional and strong. I am so proud of him, his family and his supporters. I detest the media more than I ever have for they way they refused to give President Bush the victory last night and I am not surprised to see the Dems already trashing the President on national television. This tells us that the Dems have learned nothing from last night's huge defeat. It's sad for our country but they are who they are. AND, we are who WE are. God bless to everyone!

This tells us that the Dems have learned nothing from last night's huge defeat. That's OK. Each defeat our Dubya administers to the Leftist Dems is bigger than the last. If we can keep Dubya around long enough, there won't be any of them in Washington any more.

I feel the same angst for Pennsylvania, WIladyconservative. The fraud machine in Philadelphia is so entrenched, I don't know how we'll ever get it right.
BUT, the latest results I saw, we had less of a margin than Ohio had. And we still have our militairy absentee ballots coming in the next 10 days.
