Iowa is irrelevant to either side at this point.

You are right, we had the chance for a while last night to be the state that put the total over 270, but somebody managed to screw that up. I waited until 1:30 AM just to see the results come in froma couple small precincts (that couldn't change the outcome), just for the freaking satisfaction of watching Iowa go red. Alas, it is still grey, and I'm sure the democrat Sec O' State (Mr. "pre-gov run voter information mailing" Culver) is just ensuring that every vote is counted.

I will, soon, get what I want with my state going for the President, which is better than nothing...

Even if Kerry had gotten the popular vote and didn't get the EV, we'd be talking about the same scenario this country got itself into in 2000. But since Kerry got neither, Bush got a true honest-to-God, without a doubt, mandate and victory.

No one can say this time around it was illegitimate, but the MSM will try it's damndest in the days to come.
