#48 is for you, too. Just my opinion. I can feel your anger and it's not misplaced. I just think it's time to refocus. We have judges to appoint and son't need to muddy the water.
> I can feel your anger ...
I'm not angry, just resolute.
I'm also not gloating today, just relieved.
Critical work remains. Kerry is still a danger. There are
things he could have done, and could still do, that would
cause the Swifties (and me) to stand down on him personally,
but I see ZERO indication that any such admissions and
apologies are likely.
I'll further go on to say that today's uncommon
"graciousness" on his part is an early act in a
desperate effort to save his Senate seat.
We mustn't underestimate Kerry and the RATs. An injured RAT is more dangerous than your normal, everyday RAT, and GW kicked butt really hard. They intend to get even and impeachment of the president is on their agenda. This is visceral and unrelenting and all tied to Clinton's little problems with impeachment and lack of a legacy. Hillary's running for President in four years will simply ramp this up, but by then they'll have forged more documents or paid off phony witnesses or who knows what. Carville, Lockhart, et. al. have to earn their keep and they will. We have to keep our guard up and making what an example of Kerry and what he did is a good place to start.
