Republicans have for years suffered from the 'country club gentleman' syndrome. We let JFK steal the '60 election from Nixon because we didn't think it was in the best interest of the nation to raise a stink about boxes of bogus votes from Ill. That type of thinking probably is why we were cursed with Clinton for eight horrible years, and why, frankly, we're under attack by crazed Islamofascists. Remember the rumors that Bush senior and the republicans had a video of Clinton burning the American flag in Moscow? I believe it was true and that Bush decided to take the high road and not use it.

The country can't afford any more of this or any more Kerry. It's the same tactics we've used in Fallujah, attack a little, ask if they want to be nice, truce time while they regroup, rearm, kidnap and behead more innocents. And finally, now, Allawi's run out of patience? Until when? Until the Marines kill a dozen Arab terrorists? War means no half measures, and that includes Kerry.

Thanks for your reply and especially this comment. Agree.

I'm tired of "dodging bullets;" we have a responsibility to the generation coming up behind us to clean this place up.

You know, I have asked myself a hundred times if my own bias gets in the way of my view. I complain about the media bias and yet can go to DU and see they also complain citing instances they believe to be bias. What I don't see at DU is substance, intelligent conversation about where they 'think' their party is headed, except toward Socialism. Is this really what they want or are they being led by a party, by the schools and the media that has not leveled with them (maybe because they really want Socialism)? I can't seem to find any other answer.

Politics has become not two distinct platforms. It seems to be a rush to the middle to 'convince' the people to vote for them. Then once in office they do as they please.

Schools need a required class on the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. It needs to be taught that neither guarantees anything that involves someone else's billfold.

I am so glad Bush won because we have not lost the war yet, but there are so many many battles to take up regarding the politics of today.

That is why I think we need to find a way to continue to pursue Kerry. Martha Stewart was held up as an example and maybe Kerry's history should be the same.
