Here's a thought: What if John Edwards replaces Chris Matthews or one of the other liberal pundits? He would be about as popular as John McEnroe, but it would be good for some laughs for a while.

About a year ago, Edwards spent some major bread on a Georgetown (D.C.) mansion. This was shortly before he decided to run for President and to leave the Senate.
Presumably, he foresees a career as a high-priced lobbyist -- probably for the trial lawyers.
