The Republicans gained 4 Senate seats. The Senate now has 55 Republicans vs 44 democrats. In the HOUSE, it was worse. The GOP picked up 8 more seats, adding to their majority. All of this is IN ADDITION to the gains they made in 2002!! Republicans also gained important STATE houses in Indiana and Missouri and retained power elsewhere. For the past two elections, they have added to their majority in all three branches of government, and they have won more governorships across the country than EVER before.
Let's face it. 9-11 pulled the country to the right. America is now a conservative (stupid) nation."
