Most of the enlisted military have a HS/Ged upon enlistment. The majority of them expound on that and practically all of your career NCO's have higher educations.
I guess I should just clarify my statement.
I can only speak for what I saw in the 90's army infantry enlisted.....and us Sarnts and Sarnt wannabes did not have college degrees...most of us.
That may have changed since I separated....and the other MOSs and branches of service are probably much different.
