Police ask for help in catching 2 serial robbers
SAN DIEGO – Authorities reached out to the public today for help in identifying and tracking down two serial robbers who, combined, have committed nearly two dozen Southern California bank robberies over the last 14 months. (snip)
Witnesses have consistently described him as a roughly 5-foot-9-inch, 145- pound Middle Eastern man who appears to be in his 30s, with black hair, green eyes and a goatee.
The second robber is nicknamed "the Bearded Bag Bandit" on account of his unshaven face and habit of using a cloth or canvas sack to carry off the money he steals.
