As a writer, I have played with a number of plot lines involving terrorism, including a scenario that I wrote back in the mid-1980's about a terrorist invasion of the Connecticut River Valley communities, where I was living at the time.

Just curious -- How did you end up in the Norfolk area from the CT River Valley? US Navy? And how did an AP writer end up on a forum for conservatives? (Perhaps we can apply your experience to others to free them from the AP mentality.)

The question is more, "How did I end up in the CT River Valley?"

I grew up in Virginia, went to school in New York. Worked at the AP because I thought I wanted to go into journalism.
Wandered around a bit, then came back to VA.
