I'm about a thousand posts behind, so I don't know if this has been posted yet by someone who got it, too. Today I received a Disaster Preparedness Guide from my place of employment: the USPS.

I have worked there 19 years, and this is the first time we have ever been issued anything like this. The USPS sent one to every employee nationwide -- all 800,000 of us.

A couple weeks ago, my company handed out an 'Emergency Contact List' which is to be carried on all employees at all times. Another TMer said his place of business did the same thing a week before.

Seems everyone is getting ready for some type of event. More things that make you go, hmmmm.

Still no unusual activity here in Reston (that I'm aware of).
