Apparently, a USP worker showed up in the ER with chemical burns of unknown origin. ER is currently locked down.

Note on Carolina ER lockdown - the chemical was a blue dye used for clothing. ER has been reopened.

Kinda makes me wonder what the criteria is for closing down an ER. Blue dye could have been common ink.... How much different would isolation of the worker and his contacts at the hospital have been until results were known?
