Why would chains all of a sudden invest a good chunk of money into UV detection gadgets? Homeland security could have prompted this action. The chains have cheaper ways of detection but this new gadget is for every bill, every denomination...it has to mean a major influx of bogus bills of all denominations (not just $100.) The holiday season is the best time for this sort of hijinks.
The radiation or bio vector is just more icing on the cake...take out the economy and the people, 2 birds with one stone.
Now I get it. Sorry for being dense. It's late and I should be getting to bed.
Hmm. What would you do if I told you, Mr. or Ms. Citizen, that your money was suddenly radioactive? Would you wait to get every bill tested, or would you immediately get rid of all the "radioactivity" in your pants, just in case? It's a lot cheaper for them to announce they released hot bills into the economy than to actually do it.
Just a thought.
