Here's a link to the Boston news site. On it, the Boston mayor expresses his concerns regarding the LNG tankers. I watched the video and the only protection the LNG tankers are said to have are double hulls.

I've seen one of things things come in. They are surrounded by helicopters and Coast Guard ships with machine guns. All other traffic appears to be stopped. However, as soon as they get the tanker to the dock all that security seems to disappear. Also planes continue to take off and land at Logan during this time.
