The top French soldier in Ivory Coast, General Henri Poncett, said that women had been raped in anti-French violence that erupted there over the last week."

I do remember the rash incidents last spring. I don't recall anything other than 'unknown cause'.
About 20 years ago my hubby was almost hit in the head with a lead pipe while stuck in traffic on South Street in Philly. I yelled for him to hit the gas and plow through the intersection as I caught the image of the dirtball with pipe in hand before the scum swung and only the back panel of our Cordoba was hit. This was near Graduate Hospital.
I'm sure that has been "backroom talks".

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A string of plotted attacks on America has been stopped -- and an Eastern European country is being credited with the break.
Police in Kazahkstan have arrested more than a dozen people on charges of plotting attacks around the world. America was one of the biggest targets.
Authorities confiscated weapons, explosives, computers, and fake passports from the group. They even found recorded speeches by Osama Bin Laden.
Investigators have released a video showing the arrest this week. Officers say the group has strong ties to Al-Qaeda.
