"It" could've applied to any of those dire predictions heard leading up to the presidential election.
A terrorist attack, always a threat in the post-9/11 climate, seemed to many a more ominous possibility during election week.
A U.S. senator even closed his Capitol Hill office, citing what he called "top secret intelligence."
"I would not bring my two sons to Capitol Hill between now and the election. So I'm not going to put other peoples' sons and daughters at a risk that I'm not there to share myself," said Sen. Mark Dayton (D-Minnesota).

Email worm poses as Osama videogram (11/5/04)

The Famus-F worm normally arrives in the form of a bilingual English and Spanish email, with the subject line "More terrorism this year". The message body states: "Last speech from Bin Laden. Please forwards this video to everybody." and includes a password - "cnn".
I agree with the author and the eyes and nose are different, wish the pic wasn't so fuzzy
"lawn of golden jewels" could describe the Houston Ship Channel engulfed in flames. I hope that "passenger ships" don't travel in the channel ("passed she lips on a lawn of golden jewels") Geez. I don't even want to think any more about it.
