I found rooms at the Days Inn on Columbia Pike in Arlington, VA for about $65.00 per night. You might want to give it a try.

There are plenty of rooms in the 10-15 mile range at reasonable rates from $80 to $120. Consider that low cost plus another $50 for a cab to/from the ball. It sure very reasonable.

Just put DC in Orbitz.com for the 20th and you will see.
