My wife and I were @ The Freepers Ball 2001 - an absolute blast and an honor to be there - Mike Huckabee and his band were fabulous- we have relocated to DC (Georgetown)the past year (a few blocks from the WhiteHouse) - we love to say that the Bushes are our neighbors (and we would have been devestated if Kerry won, as in, "there goes the neighborhood") - we can walk into town and we actually have a little extra room in our townhouse - maybe we can make some room for a couple of extra Freepers if need be. We will be there this year with bells on. W1 - we love it.

Freepers

I'm thinking about coming with my wife.

How hard is it to get around DC? I've never been there and would be a lost puppy.

Where to stay? Attire for the Inaguration and the ball?

Any help would be appreciated.

I really appreciate the hospitality! My wife and I are really excited that we were able to be part of the whole election process and are able to cap it off with the inauguration.

Omigosh! I took a tour of DC on one of those trollies and we went thru Georgetown. We saw a light pinkish house that a little old lady lived in. The bus driver said it was 9 feet across! I will soon be your neighbor in Chantilly by Dulles part time anyway!
