You'll definitely need to take a cab. The Sheraton should be able to get you a cab in a few minutes to take you into town. Plenty of cabs in D.C. around to take you home after the Ball.

Have you never heard of the 'Black Tie and Boots Ball"?? It's the Texas Ball and EVERYONE wears boots!...ballgowns and all! It's a gas!
There's an official Bush-Cheney Inaugural committee that organizes most of the balls. Bush will show up at those. Our ball is organized by FR and is not affiliated with Bush-Cheney.
Maryland and Virginia are just a Metro ride away. Check hotels there.
Oh well... perhaps at another event. ;-)

It was a fun night, girl - it was so cool putting screen names to faces (OK - sometimes it wasn't).
Even if we cannot attend this grand gala celebration, and if we donate to the Inaugural Ball Freeper festivities, can we be remembered in some way as extending a hand to the cause for celebration?
