I see I'm not missing much by not reading DU! Looks like Kerry alienated his base by feigning to be civil in his concession.
Sorry to rain on anyones optimistic parade, but Americans are not going to unite. Bush is wayyyy to far to the right to universal support. Contrary to what the religious right want everyone to believe, "morals" aren't only for them. Morally, I have to go with what I believe is right, and supporting this president to destroy thousands of lives at home and abroad is clearly wrong. I can not morally stand behind him.
