There is apparently a court order about this. I haven't heard of the provisions of that order.

I SUGGEST EVERYONE GOES TO C-SPAN TO WATCH THE ELECTORAL MAP, THEY ARE UPDATING LIKE THERE'S NO TOMMOROW. Anyway, watch Ohio; its interesting. But they update every few minutes, so dont get worried if you see something you dont like, Bush is gaining in a lot of states.

1930 was the original poll closing time. It's been extended.

This provision is true in any election. Anyone in line can vote past the polling deadline. Those arriving past the cutoff to get in line are told thanks for coming, but you're too late.

I believe it's the law in most states. If you are in line when the polls close you get to vote. It's true here in NJ that I do know.

Where are you seeing your Ohio data? Fox has Kerry up by 7, and the Ohio website has him barely up.

My understanding of the ruling is different than yours. No ruling would be required to let the people in line on time to vote. The ruling is to allow people who show up after the polls closed to get on the line, if there is one, and still vote.
