As a Floridian, I can't be any happier.

I would like nothing better than Florida going early for President Bush and Senator Martinez.

Yesm but are the Dems in Miami just waiting to see how many votes to forge?

And you have hit the nail right square on the head - much like Michigan - the liberal strongholds hold out every election to report results until the end - gives them time to "arrange" just enough votes....

Be careful. Miami Dade and Broward Counties have no results shown yet. These are highly populated with Dems.

More like wall-to-wall, right?

Maybe the huge turnout this year was an abject rejection of Lurch.

And OBL, and Michael Moore, and....

Word of caution - there's still Miami & Palm Beach, etc. And they are waiting to see how any votes they need to produce before stating any results.

Good news is supposedly good turnout & better results in the precincts that are in.

>>>No Broward, Miami-Dade or Palm beach at all yet.<<<

Weren't these late in 2000....speculation was the Democrat polling officials were waiting to see how many fraudulent votes they needed to win.

What I worry about is that FL may just be more polarized than in 2000. When we start to see counties that went Gore in 2000, they might break even more heavily for Kerry now.

We'll see. The stress is killing me.

Relax Florida is going better than expected. Especially after all the worry about the early exit polls.

Well, Ralph Reed, the campaign director, said that the GOP outperformed all of its targets in both those counties earlier today. Dems UNDERPERFORMED.

Put FL in the books. We are only waiting on OH now.

And this: "They calculate that there are currently 525,000 Republican and 368,000 Democrat Absentee Ballots in Florida." Bad news? We'd possibly have to wait to have those counted.

I drove from McAlester OK to my little town in south Texas today on the return trip from visiting relatives in Missouri, listened to talk radio all the way down --- shifting fromstation to station.

Laura Ingrham out of OKC early in the morning, people reporting troubles in votng.

Then Rush out of Dallas and then Waco. It was a tour of talk radio in the south-south-west.

Then Rush again out of Waco and Sean Hannity for a little while from Austin, then picked up Schnitt from San Antonio.

What sounded good was the people calling in to report disenfranchisement. Am home now and got to go listen to Sean.

When I rushed into my little towns' polling plae to vite at the last moment, the lady who runs the general store was handing out ballots. "So good to see you! Glad you made it!"

The lady I bought my donkey from was helping with drinks and snacks for the volunteers. The man who handed me my ballot was the father of my horse-shoer.

It was a Normal Rockwell moment. That America does exist, and it will prevail, the Lord willing.
