Anyone know what final 2000 Broward count was?

387,760-177939 - a difference of 209,821.

Right now, or at least 10 minutes ago, there are/were 13 Florida counties reporting at 100% (Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, DeSoto, Flagler, Franklin, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Monroe, Union, Wakulla). In 2000, Bush took a cumulative 54.8% of the 2-party vote in those counties, and won them by a cumulative margin of 17,661. This year, he took 58.7% of the 2-party vote, and won by 41,441. Percentage-wise, he increased his margin of victory in 12 of the 13, falling just shy in Hamilton.

I don't know what that all means, but it sure seems like a good thing...

You should be delaying celebration until all votes are in. As far as I know, only 50% has been counted.

Check here

Broward is 81.2% in and at current rate will produce only 2k more net Rat votes than Gore got in 2000. Still nothing on Palm Beach and Miami-Dade, but it doesn't look like Broward can compensate for the big Bush gains reported so far.

;)

A local DJ here has been imploring Republican people to get off their duffs and go vote so we can offset South Florida (and their carpetbagger Yankee politics they've brought down from the Northeast. hahaha)

He ended his show with religious music and said it was in the hands of voters and God now.

So true.
