FLORIDA TRENDING BUSH: BUSH - 57%, KERRY - 42% (Real Time Results)
Yes, Orange County went for Gore in 2000. These results are VERY encouraging!!!!!
You get that right.
Last evening I drove through the heavily Democratic areas in Miami-Dade, and activists were on the streets bull-horning "Bush racist" and "Bush KKK" slogans. The cops were escorting the demonstrators through the neighborhoods.
Several streetside billboards read "Last time the Supreme Court chose the President, this time you chose the President," and the voting places were inundated with pro-Kerry signs, but very few Bush signs (actually, except for Lemon City library branch, I did not see any Bush signs at any other voting location at this part of town).
It's really a nasty anti-Bush crowd. Cheating is nothing new to them.
Is that better or worse than 2000?
Fox just reported that Hispanics have voted 55/45 in favor of Bush. If that's the case, Florida's a lock.
KMCI,
Remind me to rip Matt Dung an e-mail tomorrow
And CNN just did an analysis of raw voting data coming from Florida saying the trend is favourable to Bush, while compared to 2000.
YAHOO!
Muchos gracias to the Hispanic community!
"Kerry's up in the EV, but that's the East reporting. Let's see when the South/lower Midwest/Southwest get going"
Dude I don't think I saw Bush lead in the EV in 2000 until about 12:30 PM Eastern. No woriies, yet.
By the way, In conservative In-land Empire CA. (Chino) My polling place is busting all records for turnout. Of course were are not in-play, but if the Repubs are as energized in swing states like here, I can't see how we loose, short of HUGE cheating
I will be following the county by county results this evening and posting. I also have Palm Beach precinct 2000 data to compare to 2004 and will keep everyone posted on Trends!
Here is another folks!
Gore County NOW Bush County
Flagler County
2000
Bush 12,613
Gore 13,897
2004
Flagler 100.0%
Bush 19,624
Kerry 18,563
Yes, Orange went for Gore. Not by a great deal though. I think it was like 52-48 or 53-47.
I see him at 28.1. I guess I must be looking at a 15 min delay.
I am almost sure it did but can't remember :)
2000 is all a blur now :D
You drove through the crack areas, the jessie jackson areas then.
That's a 2000 vote pickup in one small county.
Zogby can drop dead in five minutes for all I care and take the MSM with him.
As we should have learned at least from the 2000 election - the proof is in the pudding - WHICH counties/precincts are reporting in thus far? IF it's the normally Bush-leaning areas, then this isn't necessarily good news. If it's from traditionally left-leaning areas - this is GREAT news.
Great to see a fellow IE resident in here. I live in Redlands (very red Redlands) and I have yet to vote because we are making it a family event. I anticipate a great turn out as well. Only wish we could out number the bay area and LA.
NRO (for what THEY are worth tonight) says that insiders say that FL will end up a 1% Bush victory. Well, that's about .99% better than in 2000!
right on supergater!!
Florida
Reporting Bush sKerry
Volusia County 63.1% 61,231 68,289
One of the few counties we are losing in FL. Anyone know the final numbers in 2000?
