I lamost crapped my pants when Fox said that. Then I saw less than 12,000 votes have been reported. What a crock, FOX has acted like Bush is in deep poo. They are trying to surpress the western states. BUSH WILL WIN VIRGINIA!!

as I predicted. Republicans turned the lights out too early here. (I know -- I am a party activist). See my prediction of October 28. I said this would be the surprise close state of the night -- but Bush will win by no more than 2%

With the MONSTER turnout in Northern VA, particularly Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria .. this will be close if Downstates did not come out!

Current returns show it's 57% to 42% in favor of Bush, but yes, it's too close for me.

Bush is up 10 points with just under 30% counted. Based upon a seat-of-the-pants review of the congressional seat totals, it looks like the early returns come from mixed disticts, maybe leaning a little towards Dems (probably Richmond returns).

It really wouldn't be gentlemanly of me to say "I told you so." But then when has that ever stopped me?

I TOLD YOU SO!!!!

To be fair, most of y'all on the ping list said the same thing. I just wish I'd kept a record of all the naysayers.

One more thing...

Mark this Down: Jerry Kilgore becomes Virginia's next great (i.e., non-horseface, lying, lib'ral, carpetbagging yankee taxaholic) Governor in precisely 459 Days.

We still have work to do...

(in other news, the lib'ral in my office wouldn't even speak to me this mornin'...)

Bush won Virginia so decisively that this "too close to call" mantra only highlights the poor results of the exit polling.

Thank you Virginians for your giving Bush such as mandate.

Virginia

2328 of 2345 precincts - 99 percent

X- George W. Bush (i) Rep 1,659,263 - 54 percent
  John F. Kerry Dem 1,406,909 - 46 percent
