how did you change your name without changing your "Member Since..." date?

It's a long story, but in a nutshell, one of the mods was nice enough to 'update' the "Member Since" date for me a few years later. I was very grateful.

FLORIDA MAY NOT KNOW UNTIL AFTER THURSDAY because of the absentee ballots in Miami-Dade. The poll workers KNOW which ballots are GOP and DEM ballots. Will they cheat on Thursday for Kerry?

And, what about the Florida military ballots? I am concerned about those.
