OK, if we take Ohio, how many EVs does that give us? assume we lose NH, and now I am hearing we may not even get that 1 EV in Maine. so does this mean we have to hold Nevada, or take New Mexico, to win?

No. We can lose NH and NM (a Gore State) and still win with 273 id we get OH and FLA.
