Bush led by over 100,000 votes in 2000 before the Miami-Dade votes came in. I remember watching those numbers as his lead kept going down, down, down, until it finally got near 0 and then finally, mercifully, stopped moving.

But whats good is we still have the absentees yet to be counted in florida. Should give us some insurance if its a nailbiter again.

You may be right. Nevertheless, Bush's lead is now approaching that 100,000 and the Panhandle is still voting! You can bet that nobody is getting out of line and going home tonight!
