You know I always thought ED was a republican and you are the second person that has mentioned she wasn't or that there areq uestions about her polictical affiliation. people like her a dangerous if that is so, they are qwishy-washy and they are careless and not circumspect with their blabbering mouth. They would say things and throw things off and not care so much...
She does sometimes do the devil's advocate thing but it is unwitingly. When she pipes up she acts like she has a revelation and then you see her face fall as she is escorted back into that fevered area of her mind she popped out from. ED is OK but dangerous...she says some smart stuff but alot of times she is a goof ball at times too...she is no Lura Ingraham

You still up?!No, I crashed!
You know, judging from how the Dems have handled the last 2 elections, our days of being able to stay up at night and watch the concession & victory speeches are over. It's a shame, really. My kids don't even know what it's like to watch a "win/lose" presidential election.
How late did you stay up?
Thank God for this victory!

There was a post on Fr yesterdsy about an article in the ChronWatch that talked about how kids today haven't had that opportunity. And to see elections that were dignified. I will see if I can find it. Something about elections and pride dying. I went to bed at 4 a.m. and am back up at 8 this morning. I am still wired.
Kerry is holding true to his image. He flip-FLOPPED for the last time though. I can't wait to hear his concession speech:"I thought I was President. And then I wasn't."

They have some lame excuse for Iowa and NM IA maybe, but when NM in the middle of the night had Bush way ahead with 104% of precincts reporting -- how do they vote there? Best 100 out of 104?
Someone in NM belongs in jail!

Our esteemed news media caught a lot of flack in 2000 for calling some States (Fla.) too early. They dont want it to happen again.

Deep down the French probably wanted Bush to win. They love to hate Americans. It is their favorite hobby. Have you heard of that new book about US-France relations? IIRC the title is The Oldest Enemy. I haven't read it, but I saw a review in the WSJ. Apparently less than cordial relations go back a long way. They backed us in the Revolution only because they hated England. And, according to this book, we were in a little-known (and, I guess, little) war with France shortly after the Revolution.

Sleep deprivation blocks the normal protected inhibitions of the lunatic lefties like this one.
Then they tell us how they really feel like this rat did.
Is he a lying rat professor at some left wing university?

The Pats won the Super Bowl. The Red Sox won the World Series. And Kerry lost the election. The only bad news is that we get him back. But I'm willing to continue serving up losing Democrat presidential candidates from here in MA indefinitely. I'm a big Yankee fan -- so devoted that I was at Games 6 and 7 of the ALCS, and stayed until the bitter end of both games. But, if the Red Sox winning the World Series is the price I somehow have to pay for Bush being re-elected, I will gladly accept being a fan of a team who committed the biggest choke in postseason history!

The communist news network has it at Bush 254, Kerry 252, with 32 electoral votes still in play (Nuevo Mexico, Iowa, and Ohio).
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/special/president/electoral.college/index.html
According to their report, even if Bush wins NM and IO, Kerry can still win just by taking Ohio.
Whats up with that?
Oh, but wait
starting up SmartCalc and adding up the EVs for the states theyve called for Enswine Band-Aid, I only come up with 242 EVs. That would mean hed have to take all three of the states in play to win, including NM, where I hear Dub has a 5% lead.
Wonder why theyre reporting that Kerry has 252 EVs. Couldnt be that, in their frenzy of grief, theyve forgotten how to add, could it? What nefarious skullduggery are they up to now, I wonder?

I don't' know if this thread is over or not, I stayed
until 3 am last night and then crashed.
I don't know if anyone else has said it or not and I
don't care. We worked dam hard to help GW become our
next President. If it's fair for the rats to claim a
victory of sorts than obviously our leader should
stand up for us and he should have done it immediately,
not listen to someone else.
I want to know why President Bush did not claim victory
when it was obvious he should last night. He has far
more than the 270 electoral votes needed whether Dan
Rather or Tom Brokaw say so or not. He needs to be a
leader.
He needs to represent the people who elected him and
right now!
If the rats can claim it's not over because the feel like we dam sure can doit because we really did win.
This should not be a feel good election based on feelings
This is the real thing and should be treated as such.

Thune's defeat of the Da$$hole, besides GW's victory last night, was great for our side. I had emails this morning from non freepers about how great it was to watch Blather, Brokaw, Jennings, Matthews and Russert come close to tears last night with Da$$hole's defeat.

OK so I slept through the last 3000 posts.. Had to, have to go to work at 2pm today. Bummed that Michigan went to Kerry.
Just heard the President stayed up til 5:30, I was up to 3:30. Overwhelming feeling this morning that we need to KEEP UP THE PRAYERS!! I know you are all excited. Looks like the moral majority made a huge difference last night, question is in my mind can we keep up the prayers and show God we really deserve it. Getting a real Biblical sense this morning we are being judged as a people. Or maybe I just need a second cup of coffee.....
