this explains the skewed results.
The turnout in California is ridiculous, long lines where there normally is none. Quite a few Republicans in the line too, for the SF Bay Area. I did my voting early this morning.
how many billions of dollars did Drudge and this bogus poll cost our economy? I read somewhere this poll might actually fire up our face. I was scared to death when I heard it, especially after Rove and Jeb Bush seemed so confident yesterday. I voted at 7 but I those folks who haven't voted yet do so immediately.
And where is the RNC right now? They should hit the airwaves and say this is nonsense. If anything it will settle down the markets. Jim
LOL!
I'm very calm.
We are going to be fine tonight.
It's some of the other FReepers with their penchant for posting a thread every 5 seconds for a story that's evolving by the minute.
*HUGS* Thanks for the encouragement!
This is a new tactic by the Democrats. They are doing whatever it takes. You did not expect the Democrats to just roll over? This is a coordinated effort and unfortunately the Drudge and NRO fell for it. This is a last desperation effort by the Dems and they hope to keep it at least close so they can fight this thing in the courts. They know with a Bush blowout this will not be possible.
I believe it is a blowout for Bush so far but it is close enough if the Dems can supress Republican turnout they can make this a race.
I hope everyone emails Drudge to tell him that he was duped and needs to change his tune.
Bush will still win this thing in a landslide but the Dems are going to fight all the way to the finish. In fact, they will fight all the way past the
you just really wanna dance naked outside, don't you?
:D
I thought women were going for Bush. Security moms? Someone enlighten me please.
Well, then why are the AMs saying not to post exit polls anymore?
Because they no that it isn't good to put out there.
And if those numbers are right, with a 60% women sample. Bush should take MI and several other states. I think it was trouble making sh*t. And the results speak for themselves. The Dow tanked, the base freaked and we don't know how many voters have been discouraged from voting (that's unknowable). In addition, we don't know how many bandwagon minded types decided after hearing it (say on the way to the polls) to vote for the "sure winner" and voted for Kerry.
Face it, damage was done. Is it fatal? Probably not, but I resent that it ever happened. And I resent that K-Lo and Drudge post whatever the AP and other liberal media entities (people clearly with a dog-faced candidate in this fight) feed them.
There is two things we can do: First, GO VOTE. Second, wait for actual vote count. If Kerry & MSM are using the womem to men ratio for exit polls they are desperate.
Well until the numbers were pulled and showed to be highly slanted, it upset a lot of people as well as the stock market which dropped over 50 points very quickly.
That sounds painful.
SHAME ON NRO
Bush has narrowed the gap w/ women, not closed it
SHAME ON NRO
Some dummie expert was on CNN talking about how early exit polls point to a big kerry win. They were all slobbering over one another. Their propaganda gets old.
Let's see, Kerry ran his entire campaign on lies and distortions and now at the end what are we finding....lies and distortions, any surprise here?
6-4 Kerry is Good news for Bush. I would be more worried if Women were voting at a 8 or 9 out of 10 clip for Kerry. Bush WILL WIN!!! I have inside connections to the campaign in Texas and they are Confident!!! Dont Get Discouraged Its part of The SPIN FACTOR
I can't type, and I can't spell. But I did vote. Jim
Women vote first because more of them stay at home. Along with slackers and the old folks in Florida who believed all the balony about their Soc. Sec. checks not coming. The men who work and do something in life are gonna start coming in right now through this evening. If Bush is only 1 or 2 down in these exit polls with that high of a percentage of women then were gonna blow em out today. Besides these exit polls are so unreliable that Bush may even be ahead right now.
Everyone needs a hobby. =)
What's even more insane. CNN was rambling on how Bush must win florida to take the election. They said Kerry on the other hand has many different ways he can win. This is a total fabrication to anyone who has been watching the state races. It's always nice we can count on the news to keep people so misinformed.
