Hell yes it's skewed. Out West here in Transylvania County, we had a sixty-eight percent turnout, and the Republicans swept every single office by a large margin. Bush won with 61% of the vote. That other candidate whose name I have already forgotten only got a girly 38%. Badnarik got 1%, and Nader got a grand total of 15 write-in votes.
From president to county supervisor, dog catcher and everything in between the Republicans won by humiliating (to the RATS) margins.
That's great! My county being liberal was the opposite. All that does not surprize me. What gets me is what we continue to lose (or fail to win) at the State level. We lost:
Governor
Lt. Governor
Attorney general
Commissioner of insurance
Secretary of state
Superintendent of public instruction
Treasurer
6 of 13 in the US House
34 of 64 in the State House
22 of 37 in the State Senate
and
Amendments I, II and III all passed
On a State level the Dems continue to win.

We need to know what y'all in Transylvania County did right.
