Maryland is close enough that a strong Bush surge nationally could flip it from a blue state to a red state. I think Pipkin stands a chance against Mikulski (though I'm not placing bets). I would be surprised if Floyd beats Van Hollen in MD-8, but pleasantly so.
Montgomery County folks -- any thoughts on whether Question A (property tax limitations) will pass? I have preferences on the other two questions (yes on both), but won't be upset if they fail... but Question A hits close to home with the huge rise in appraised values around here...
(BTW, ever notice on any tax measure that it is always the "essential services" that will be the first to be cut without the tax increase... if those services are so essential, then shouldn't they be the last things you'd cut?)
