Just voted in Racine. It was the most people I ever saw at my polling place. I would guess the area is 50-50 usually pro Republican/Dem. The poll had at least 6 watchers and was run very efficiently.

Powerline

A reader in Wisconsin reports that thirty vans that the Republican Party had rented to drive their voters to the polls had their tires slashed last night. Will report more if we get further information.

UPDATE: This story has been confirmed by Milwaukee police. Thirty vans were disabled

KSTP AM 1500 REPORTED SOME SLASHED TIRES TO 30 VANS, AFFECTED REPUBLICANS, did not hear exact beginning of the 20 second news report. This occurred in Wisconsin.

I was looking for the story in print.

Just voted in the Republican stronghold of Waukesha County. Very high turnout. Another tidbit of personal info. A couple members of my wifes (and her included) side of the family who have voted democrat last couple elections have voted for Bush. I am hoping that is a precursor to how it will be in Wisconsin. Now if we can get these thugs to stop looting Repub HQ's and stop slashing tires it would be great.

Long lines in my district. Had to park a block and a half away. Arrived in line at 3 minutes to 7, finished voting at 7:50 am. Got into a little fight with a kerry voter. I was talking to a Bush voter about fraud, etc. and she turned around and rebuked me for talking politics in line. I said, "I thought you guys are so in support of free speech!" The other Bush voter, a guy, clammed up after that. Some Republicans are such wussies. Anyway, voted straight Republican with no real problems. My guess is my district is more RAT than Pubbie.

Stood in one of the shortest lines at the polling place for 20 minutes this morning. The other lines were running anywhere from 30 to 60 minute waits for each ward. Heard on the radio that Morons.org were gathered at other polling places in Green Bay handing out flyers to voters on their way in.

I've never in my 24 years of voting seen anything like this before. It was exciting and anxious at the same time. Most people were very determined to vote today.

A co-worker of mine just reteurned from voting in a heavily republican area and said she's never seen anything like it. Hundreds of people in line, traffic jams, she was voter #693 at 10 AM!

I voted absentee a weeks ago with my two kids, and the hubby is there now. Will report on his experience as soon as I talk to him.

If turnout is what seals the deal for the President, I'm going to cry. We worked so hard on the GOTV phone calls, etc, it will be the most gratifying thing I have ever done.

Just heard from my source that MoveOn is targeting Republican strongholds and intimidating voters outside. Waukesha and John Muir school in Madison and other sites around the state. Sheriffs have been called in some places. John Muir is our old polling site and the principal is married to the head of the public instruction for the state, a Dim, and former neighbor.

Just voted in Deerfield.. Lucky number 300!

We have a base population of about 1200 people, and if 2004 was any indication, the village as a whole will go for Kerry and the Dems, But the Republican votes from us will help drive up the state total.

Madison talk radio news segments are weighted heavily toward liberal coverage, but the cess pool that is Madison will lurch into the Kool-Aide Pool for the Dems.

Just voted here in West Allis. Didn't appear to be much of turnout, but I figure it'll pick up once the first shifters get off work. Probably only a few people at the polls, but a nice group of ladies selling baked goods after I voted. I have a soft spot for old ladies who bake Oatmeal Raisin cookies, mmm. A vote for Bush and Michaels, and cookie, what a day!!!

I just found about a possible scheme to suppress R turnout. You tell me.

My Daughter just came home for lunch. And before she left to go back to school. She
says “ Don’t forget about the concert tonight I need to be there a 7 and it starts at 7:30”

Concert tonight?! I knew it was this week. But not today Why......Then the light went on!

We are a small rural village in nw. WI. People who most likely vote “R” are just getting
home. Farmers are finishing up evening milking. And now need to chose vote or miss the
gran/kids. This is a big thing
The school admit. are kerry fans

Is my tinfoil on to tight and it was a complete accident that the 2nd was picked. Or what!
Don’t know what can be done at this late date. ( I know I need to be more on top of
things)
