Regarding the lady who's name isn't on the list. A similar thing happened to me some years ago. I moved to a new city and county, and re-registered to vote at the DMV when I got my new license. A few weeks before the election, I called the township office, and they said they didn't have my registration. So, I called the SoS in Lansing to complain. They said it was a snafu on their part, and basically, I wouldn't be able to vote. Of course, I went off on them and called my state and US representatives and explained that because of a bureaucratic snafu, *I* wouldn't be able to vote, even though I had followed the law.
They jumped all over it and got it taken care of. I voted an absentee ballot and my vote was counted.
