Good morning, Americans!

Polls are open in many eastern states, it's time to let 'er rip!

Early reports here in metro Atlanta have lines two and three hundred deep or longer at many precincts both city and suburbs. I'm planning on waiting a few hours for the early voters to get in and out before I head out.

Pray on it, get out there, consider well, vote well, and come on back to raise a victory toast tonight!

Double-barrelled Mega-PING! to both lists! If you want on, FReepmail me!

Thanks for the ping!

I heard on the radio that there were long lines here. I got in the car to see (dad and I are taking the girls later to see us vote). There are lines. This is a small suburb in MI.

Speaking of turnout, things are booming in Oak Creek, WI. I got to my poll at 6:49 (a bit late for me; had a few things to take care of), line was already 60 deep. By the time polls opened at 7, line was already better than 150 deep. Cast my ballot at 7:13 (53rd ballot cast; I connected the lines a bit faster than some others :-) and as I was leaving, the line was close to 200 deep.
