DNC Targets Bush's Daughters

DNC Targets Bush's Daughters
Anyone who still thinks Kedwards' invocation of Mary Cheney in the debates was innocent should consider what Ben Johnson, deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee, had to say about President Bush's daughters in a radio debate with conservative commentator Armstrong Williams this morning. The subject was the possibility of black Americans voting for Bush over moral issues like abortion and same-sex marriage:

No one has a monopoly on morality in this country. And if you want to talk about morality, I mean, look at George Bush's daughters. If he was such a heck of a father, why couldn't he keep those girls from drinking?

An MP3 audio clip from the program, which was hosted by Karen Hunter and Steve Malzberg and aired on WWRL-AM, "New York's Urban Talk," is here.

Oops. My bad. I apologize. Still, Laura, Jenna, and Barbara don't scrub up too bad, do they? And, compared to Lurchenstein's wife, I'd take any of the three Bush ladies.

"...If he was such a heck of a father, why couldn't he keep those girls from drinking"?

Because the legal drinking age is 21, you ninny.(This guy probably doesn't drink anymore and is still bitter about it.)

Republican youth that I know take responsibility for their actions when they're young, whereas Democratic youth choose to point their fingers at their parents and the gov't for their youthful mistakes. At least neither Barbara of Jenna have film of themselves being 'carried out to the car and slouching over' online for the world to see, like the young Ms. Clinton.

Desperate. Very desperate.

Exactly. The dems have been running on empty since the dem convention. No new ideas to put foreward, No attacks of substance on the Bush administration, hell bad news out of Iraq has done more to hurt GWB than the kerry campaign. I even saw some dem taking Limbaugh to task because he misstated the deficit on april 18 of this year. Now this? GWB is supposed to keep his girls from making a mistake that almost all of us made growing up. Pathetic.

Civil war anyone??

I'm praying it is just a Spiritual War and the 'evil' is a minority and noisy. Yes we are 'polarized'. So is Heaven and Hell.

"Don't mess with the Twins. You mess with the Twins, you mess with me. Well, I can't do anything but I like saying that...MUAHA!"

I'm a single guy, only three years older than them. I would love to be able to say something like that to the Dems.

Maybe "Cooter" comes from one of those "radical" protestant traditions which believes that drinking any amount of alcohol for any reason is immoral.

They can't stand Republicans, and will talk them down for doing the exact same things that they do. It's so predictable.

The dems have been running on empty since the dem convention nominating the traitor John Kerry. No new ideas to put foreward, except attacking the policies of GWB.
