Did you even notice that EVERY single item in your list of Bush's good deed applies to 50% of the country: he protects us from terrorism, lowers taxes, etc. --- an yet 50% of the country votes against Bush! Why do these Christians, Buddhists and agnostics treat their friends --- Bush and Republicans --- so poorly? I don't think you are seeking any answers, and that is why you do not know them. And if 80% of the country voted against Bush I would be very, very, very, very surprised and would ask why? A huge number of American Jews (a huge percentage, maybe 70-80%) are voting against Bush right now and, yes, I find that amazing. You don't have to imply "ugly" thoughts on my part. Many people on this board are just dumbfounded by this statistic. If 50% of American Jews voted for George Bush I would not have brought up the matter.
