American Jews Christians repay Bush's good deeds, loyalty and unwavering support with a kick in the teeth at every turn. And you know what? After Bush is re-elected he will still do the right thing. That is what honorable, men of character do. My only request to American Jews Christians is: Why do you treat your friends so poorly?

Threads about that were done to death here a few weeks ago. Of course, we all know that no Christian ever misbehaves, right?

Of course, they emigrated here from Israel so they know the score.

Why did they do that?

Prayer in schools, religious monuments at courthouses.

Smart Jewish parents (or those that can at least afford it) send their children to private school. That way they do not have to worry about anyone asking their kids to say a Christian prayer.

But he believes in imposing abortion on demand on the country by judicial fiat.

And sadly, American Jews idolize FDR, who refused to let millions of Jews emigrate to the U.S., leaving them to die in Nazi concentration camps, in spite of evidence that the Nazis were planning to kill them.

That may be so, but there is another point. Whatever you may think of him, in the days of Franklin Delano Roosevelt "liberalism" meant something very different than what it does now. It was the days of the dust bowl, the "Okies," the redneck left (I know, a contradiction in terms nowadays), and the Tennessee Valley Authority, and the Southern white evangelical vote was overwhelmingly Democratic as well. FDR was president of the United States for twelve years and there was not one single legal abortion or homosexual "marriage" during all that time. And even though there was much political radicalism in the "red decade" of the Thirties, there simply were no idiotic crusades against eating meat or using gender-specific pronouns or "hate speech."

Loyalty to a man who died almost sixty years ago simply does not explain remaining loyal to an ideology that has gotten goofier and goofier every year since 1960. It seems that the label is more important than the contents it describes, since loyalty to post-modernist liberalism is justified as fealty to Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

I am rather sick and tired of America Jerws being painted with one brush. If some folks want to do that, we'll get that same brush out and do up the Christians too.

Very true statemnt about FDR....LIBERAL American Jews(just like Liberal American Catholics,Protestants whatever) are a pain in the American Body Politic...the difference is since they are one of this country's most important, wealthy and influential groups they have that much more power to do damage per capita than the typical liberal....

Of course. I'll be happy when the election is over so I can stop listening/watching non-Jews pretend they know everything about Jews.

I wonder why coerceing tax money(in the form of US foreign aid) to give to Israel is not seen as a violation of the strict separation of church and state from the perspective of liberal Jews....hmmmmmm...

encapsulating
Jewish/Christian differences
in one pithy phrase.

I hope everyone

The difference is that in the case of American Jewery the stereotype about them being yellow-dog Democrats is true.

It is undeniable that, outside of a handfull of white-supremacists, anti-Sematism is to be found within the liberal community.

It is further undeniable that the staunchest defenders of Israel are those on the religious right.

So who are three-quarters of Jews voting for?

The Democrats, that's who!

The religious right extended the hand of friendship to Jews and they spit in their palms.

Does that make sense?

Nobody here is knocking all Jews...Howard Phillips is a wonderful America First Orthodox Jew..HOWEVER, it does appear that just like so many Mexicans think of America as just another state of Mexico, too many Jews think of Israel as the 51st State....

Prayer in schools, religious monuments at courthouses. Jews are inherently uncomfortable with anything that crosses the line between church and state and the GOP has been out front on this issue every step of the way.

That is so because the majority of the American Jewish community are secularists (or members of phoney "branches") who know nothing about their own faith. What everyone on every side of the issue seems to forget is that the people who invaded 'Eretz Kena`an, killed the pagan inhabitants, pulled down their altars, and created a Theocracy in which no Jew had the "right" to practice another religion, were JEWS, not chr*stians. Nowadays people see Jews only as an oppressed, exiled "minority" group that can survive only under a "Voltaireocracy." And chr*stians who refuse to read the Book of Joshua, who continue to think they invented Theocracy, and who think Jews have never been anything but corrosive "troublemakers" are just as stupid.

There is a legitimate reason for opposing chr*stianity, but it is because it is a false religion, not for French "enlightenment" reasons.

Jewish theology is compatible with state socialism. "Tikkun Olam" is a commandment to "heal the world." Many Jews interpret that as a directive to support the welfare state.

Since "state socialism" in and of itself has very little do to with theological or religious issues, any theology can be compatible with it (for example, C. S. Lewis said that if the early chr*stians had created a state it would probably have been a socialist state with very prudish morals). The pronouncments of J*sus in the "new testament" about the poor are as socialistic as anything in the TaNa"KH or Talmud. And of course there's the fact that outside the United States chr*stian rightists tend to look on free enterprise as a sort of radical proto-Marxism and champion instead pre-capitalist forms of socialism such as distributivism (again, something pilfered from the "old testament" which chr*stians think they invented).

All this confusion will be dispelled once Israel is united under authentic Torah and the ancient sacrificial service is being performed once again in the Holy Temple. Then liberal Jews and anti-Semitic chr*stians can both cry in each other's arms. And the sooner the better!!!

School. They're both Ph.D.s. One in science, one in mathematics.
