Well, I guess we're off the hook over Dick Morris's projections. Great analyst! Predictions, always wrong!

No news outlet or pundit gets in trouble for saying the race is "too close to call".

If they say Kerry is leading, they get criticized for lying when he loses.

If they say Bush is leading, they get frantic calls from DNC Headquarters telling them to shut up or face retribution.

"Too close to call" is the safe thing to say when they know Bush is solidly ahead. If Kerry were solidly ahead, they wouldn't hesitate to tell us. Loudly.

Rahm Emmanuel ALWAYS looks like death warmed over--sort of like a pale image of Lurch.

Exactly, and he ALWAYS has known about as much as we do. That is what makes him so damn amusing. He gets on TV and tries to sound like he knows something we don't. This guy is great, great I tell you!!!

He's already said before that Bush will win.

Was that before or after he said Kerry would win?

Dude is a loon, and I so not understand the infatuation with him. His voice gives me the creeps, toe sucking aside.

**by the way, on several occasions lately, Newt has hinted a return to elective politics.**

This is the first time I have posted or even voiced this aloud but over the last few weeks I have I do not know why felt this was a great possibility. IMHO whether it anything significant for 2008 or whether a lesser office before but I just have this feeling. He was with key people at the RNC I believe he was an official delegate from one of the States. It was said the the VP was at the RNC all week to move and shake behind the scenes was Newt part of that moving and shaking.

By my above comment I am not alluding any replacement of the VP I think he will serve his 4 years but Newt could be going to run for something either before or in 2008.

Well I have said it now.
