Don't sweat the polls. Remember 2002, polls were wrong. Remember the Missouri vote on the Marriage Amendment, polls were off by 14 percent.

Can you refresh my memory? How off were they about Gore and Bush?

Not 2000 polls, 2002 midterms.

It was predicted that the Republicans would lose seats in the House and Senate.

After all, that's what always happens at midterms we were told.

This place (FR) was pretty gloomy on election day until the results started coming in, then it was like a wild party.

Wonder if threads are archived back that far, what happened was beyond belief, we were picking up seats in the Senate and House.
