Using that internet service, I found out that I am related to Pocahontas. Unfortunately, the genealogy said that her husband was John Smith. Unfortunately, though, John Smith had a romantic relationship with Pocahontas only in the Disney film--not in real life.

These internet genealogies tend to be erroneous more often than they are accurate.

Pocahontas was married to John Rolfe. They only had one child as she died at a young age. I think he then also only had one child and so on for a couple of generations.

Fortunately one then had a bunch of children and most of the prominent families of Virginia are descended from Pocahontas. One was Robert E. Lee.

BTW, I am also supposed to be related to Pocahontas.

If I'd lived back then, I think I would have wanted relations with Pocahontas. [oink alert! oink alert!]
