I noticed tonight that MSNBC aired a program today on the bush's and kerry. Believe it or not they showed the bush's in a fair light and kerry in a more negative light. In reading posts here and website of newpapers like the New york times the negative kerry papers are beginning to come out. Most interesting of all the Saturday Night Live(A very liberal show) slammed kerry versus a little of "poking" fun agianst Bush. In there actions I wonder if they are showing what they are expecting to happen thanks to the great Bin Laden tape which to me almost seem like he was scripted and didn't want to say what he said. Perhaps because his network has been destroyed or if you believe liberal bs it was the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" to tape Bin laden doing that when he's been captured for some time. Like I said bs but would be funny. I think modays polls are going to be breakaway for bush as well as the stock market. I may be wrong but I don't think so. Yet we must remeber there are two full days to do some politican so god only knows if there are any suprises left. As for me I thikn the media is beginning to show what is coming. A BUSH VICTORY. .
Wha!!!!!!!
Man, I'll say. That was scary-ignorant misuse.
59%!!! Ha ha ha ha! I'll have some of what she's drinking! Kerry couldn't get 59% if Bush resigned tomorrow morning and threw his own support to Kerry!
I still like "MSDNC."
Time for some sleep, eh?
;-)
Anyhow, I hope you are right.
Does she know that young voters are polling about 50/50? if that is true they will add to the numbers, not the end result.
Could you tell me what in particular were the "slams" on Kerry? Same with Bush, I missed the show.
Could you be more specific? I really would like to know the nature of these "SLAMS".
slamming Michael Moore......... slamming Theresa Heinz Kerry
"slamming" them for WHAT?
Susan 'Lampshade on The Head' Estrich most likely meant 59% of registered voters would vote........ not that Kerry would get 59%. Hmmmmmm.
I didn't see all of the programs, but I was also very much surprised by what I did see. The only negative I saw about Bush was that Cheney was portrayed as the training wheels for the new president, and even that implied only a temporary state.
Quite a few negatives about Kerry, including Nixon audio tapes in which Kerry was discussed as a phony. Pres. Nixon even said on one tape that he thought that half of the anti-war vets were probably phony. He was certainly insightful on that point.
They're blinded by his ambition?
I wonder the same thing. It's so amazingly obvious what sort of man he isn't. I've yet to hear anyone really challenge him as to his senatorial absentee record. His glaring and pathetic lack of attention to his senatorial duties is clear enough for anyone with a modicum of sense that he is inherently incapable of keeping a job in the real world.
To us N.E. ohioians, the PD is bird cage liner!!!!
Re #38: Wow, that's great! Personal testimony is a highly effective mind broadener.
Could it be, the jig is up?
Don't attribute it to the tape. The reporting from Kerry's press pool changed very subtely around the middle of the week---maybe Wednesday, BEFORE the OBL tape. I think it was about that time when we started seeing some polls reporting "undecideds" breaking for Bush or even---even isn't good enough for Kerry.
Anyway,it seemed like the Kerry campaign reporters were just going through the motions...as if they see body language on the plane that indicated a campaign that doesn't like its chances. Watch Kerry's reporters carefully...it's kind of like watching your kids lie. You can just tell.
Unfortunately, when Bush wins, the media may likely attribute it to the tape. But the Bush "surge" started several days before OBL popped up.
Or litter box underpaper.. but my cats refuse to use the liter boxes when the PD is under their boxes... I suspect some birds might go on eating strike when PD is placed in their cages...
thanks for the thread Vortexsg.. the chair of ATRW posts a daily chart with election info...(he works this up & does chart via front page..) on vacation til Thurs & we will miss his input
