CHICAGO - “One day. One vote. One-night stand.”
This is the hook of www.votergasm.com, a website whose mission is to “encourage young people everywhere to pledge to have sex with voters on Election Night, and withhold sex from non-voters until the next presidential election.”
According to the site, it was formed to "simultaneously reverse two disturbing trends in American society: low voting rates among young people, and unacceptably low rates of youth sexual activity."
Taking the mentality of a fraternity kegger to the political arena, votergasm.com’s goal is to “send 100,000 first-time 18-to-25-year-old voters to polls for the 2004 elections, and to catalyze 250,000 orgasms by the morning of November 3.”
The website’s program climaxes Tuesday night with election night parties around the country. According to posts on the site, in Illinois parties are being spontaneously organized in Carbondale, Champaign, Chicago, Galesburg and Macomb.
Of course, not every political stripe is enamored with this concept. The website and its tactics have come under fire from social conservatives. Recently, conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh called on his listeners to shut down the site.
“The concept would work with some of my friends, those not interested in the process,” said Jeremy Rose, a 19-year old Chicago Republican. “But others who take their vote seriously would not take this website seriously.”
In the vain of not taking the website or its mission seriously, 22-year old Republican Ryan Cudney said derisively, "What's the tagline of this site---nothing says 'I voted' like a STD?"
But some slightly older GOPers wish the technology had been around in their day. “Ah, to be 18-25 again,” said one registered Republican in his mid 40s, with tongue firmly planted in cheek.
People with this mentality shouldn't be allowed to vote!

That's a non starter. Most liberal woman are ugly as sin, probably same for the lib guys. Of course lots of the liberal men/woman/other would prefer to have sex with something other than what most people would think the norm. I would love to see where this is happening, I bet it will be a huge freak show.
If they are that that desperate the can have aeronautical intercourse with a motivating pastry.
Just another thought. I think most liberals are too angry to have sex for the most part. I bet this thing will turn out to be a big flop.
Please don't tell us you'd like to see this sort of freak show....

Yes it's true. All young males who vote for John Kerry will get to have a 15 minute "session" with Helen Thomas... with the lights on.
And Joycelyn Elders will be there giving pointers on how to achieve the maximum pleasure.

It is sad what some young women will whore themselves out for. I can't say the same for men because I know we would basically whore ourselves out for a beer, if it even took that. I still believe that a woman of virtue is the sexiest woman alive.
I just swore off sex for the rest of my life. My penis will never forgive me for having sexual thoughts and then seeing that picture.
