Cronkite, who used to be so respected in America, is in reality as mad as a coot.
He is as insane as the best lunatics at DU. Every pronouncement of his keeps getting more bizarre by the minute.
Shame that.

Why did I think Cronkite was dead? I hate when this happens --- I think someone was long gone and then find out they aren't.

Walter Cronkite has always reported badly for America. He has also been held up as an icon and respected by all future journalists...someone to emulate. He even was honored with a School of Journalism named for him at Arizona State University. Now you know where they learned their type of journalism! They are emulating well. And they can't understand why we don't believe 99% of what they say. Personally, I include the weathermen since they are wrong about that much, too. 8) (That's me, wearing my glasses!)

Seems to be catching. When was the last time Cronkite met Arafat?

Conkrite was referred to at "the most trusted man in America". But he was a lying, rotten SOB even then. However, people were a lot less sophisticated in certain ways and did not recognize the bias. Also, here was no alternate media. It was Cronkite, Huntley/Brinkley/ or Howard K. Smith as a weak third.

That was it. No alternate media. Like Jimmy Carter, Cronkite did not just one day "go bad". He's always been a worthless shill, we just did not fully realize it.

What's more, I don't think the SOB is crazy, either. I won't give him that excuse.

Senility combined with RAT idiocies is a bad combination, especially in a retired media dolt. Cronk needs to be placed in a well-controlled rest home soon. His on-air drooling of asinine theories is a disgrace.

For some reason, people thought Cronkite was such a good newsperson. Well, he showing over and over again, he's just another hack who makes up stuff according to his biases. What an idiot!

It was a great night on Larry King... 87 year old Walter drooling about Bush's Brain

On another thread they said that Kerry's IQ was quite a bit lower than Bush's. Walter must be jealous he can't match "W'S"

I recall the day Walter intoned," And that's the way it is on ... uh ..." and turned around and asked,"What day is it, anyway?"
