Bin Laden: U.S. can avert attacks

11:40 AM CDT on Saturday, October 30, 2004

Associated Press

CAIRO, Egypt - Osama bin Laden changed his usual sharply militant rhetoric to address Americans in a more conciliatory tone -- though one tinged with threat -- in his new video, dropped off at the Pakistan offices of Al-Jazeera television days ahead of the U.S. presidential election.

Osama bin Laden speaks in this image made from an undated video broadcast on Friday.

While the message was directed to Americans, the video aired Friday had something to encourage al-Qaeda supporters around the world: the image of bin Laden -- dressed in dignified, clean robes -- looking and sounding fit, firmly in control and well informed on current events despite three years on the run from U.S. forces.

So Osama, just like Kerry, wants change.

By all means, let's let him get that feeling expressed to the public. :)

The headline in the local rag was Osama Bin Laden: Leave us alone.

This is an American paper "reporting" this; as if all the poor guy wants is for us rotten greedy imperialistic American scum to leave them to their goats and burkhas.

Weeeeeeeell, turbaned-one, had you stayed in the desert, it all would have been fine. But it's too late for that now. Make peace with your maker, homey, because your time has come.

President Bush's re-election will be a resounding defeat for America's enemies, domestic and foreign--including
(1) bin Laden and the rest of his Al Qaida Satan-worshippers;
(2) the anti-American European leaders, who dream of seizing some measure of power from the world's sole superpower; and--
(3) especially--the American Radical Left, which has long dreamed of destroying the American Republic and replacing it with a Marxist totalitarian regime.
The last include the so-called "journalists" of the American Propaganda Machine, otherwise known as the "Mainstream Newsmedia"; the crypto-communists of Hollywood; and the Lunatic Fringe of the Radical Left that dominates American academia.

Expect mass apoplexy. It's going to be fun to watch.

It's this simple: If Osama could repeat 9/11, he would have done so already. He can't--because of President George Bush and his expert, brilliant, and highly effective leadership! That's how simple it is.

This is one thing that Kerry and the Democrats and their henchpersons in the "Newsmedia" (the so-called "journalists") cannot refute--no matter how filled with passionate intensity their propaganda.

Speaking of "journalists" - Walter Cronkite (snicker) believes Karl Rove (guffaw) was behind the Osama bin Laden tape (Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ! ! ! ! !)

From Larry King last night:

Cronkite: "I'm a little inclined to think that Karl Rove, the political manager at the White House, who is a very clever man, he probably set up bin Laden to this thing."

Gee . . . that certainly sounds plausible. In fact, I can imagine it happening just this way:

(Ring . . . Ring . . . Ring . . .)

ObL: Hello?

Rove: Yes, hello. May I speak to Osama, please?

ObL: Speaking. How may I help you?

Rove: Hey, Osama! It’s Karl . . . Karl Rove!

ObL: Hey Karl. What’s up?

Rove: Aw, pretty busy here, as you might imagine. Pretty tight race goin’ on right now. You may have heard.

ObL: Yeah, going down to the wire, for sure.

Rove: Well, that’s what I want to talk to you about. You mind doing us a favor?

ObL: Can’t say. Depends on what it is.

Rove: Would you mind doing a video tape for us? Release it right before the election?

ObL: Well, maybe. What do you want me to put in it?

Rove: Well, you know. Put in all the Democratic talking points. Make references to Fahrenheit 9/11. Put in a bunch of Michael Moore stuff. That sort of thing. Think you could do that for us?

ObL: Yeah, sure Karl, we probably could. Just one problem, though.

Rove: What’s that?

ObL: One of your airstrikes the other day. Took out our last remaining video camera.

Rove: You don’t say?!! Came pretty close to gettin’ you on that one, did we? Well . . . whaddya know! . . . . . . . Say, uh, . . . . which, uh, . . . airstrike was it? If you don’t mind me asking.

ObL: Don’t really want to comment on that one, Karl. But we are out one video camera now.

Rove: Hey, that’s no problem. I’ll have my people send one right over.

ObL: I’d appreciate that. When can you get it here?

Rove: How’s close of business tomorrow? Think you can turn around a video by the end of October if we do that?

ObL: Yeah, sure Karl. Consider it done. Anything else we can do for you?

Rove: Naw, that should do it. We’d really be grateful.

ObL: No problem.

Rove: Thanks! Please pass on my regards to your wives.

ObL: Same here – best to the missus.

Rove: I’ll pass that on to her. Take care now!

ObL: Bye.

So it’s official now – Uncle Walt, the erstwhile “most trusted man in America” is now a bona fide card carrying member of the Michael Moore/Jimmy Carter/Looney Left wing of the Democratic Party.
