I remember very well the hostage crises of Carter. I was at Ft Hood, TX and so relieved to see a real president take the reins and stay there for eight years. That same feeling was there, but to a lesser degree during the first Bush administration and then was totally absent until it was brought back by "W" in January 20, 2001. If a democrat is in the WH in 2005 we need to be prepared to see our rights destroyed and the level of attacks against us will increase ten fold.
I have often commented that if there were a commemorative coin for the terrorism situation we find ourselves in, it would have Yassir Arafat on one side and the "Great Enabler" on the other. (Yes, I mean Carter).
