The point is that of all the comments that can be made about this article, such as what was Saddam giving Bin Laden in return for this (WMD, maybe?), and many others, most people, including you, choose to comment on the look of the pearl, which is basically irrelevant.

Yeesh, sorry for breathing. I read the article - having read Stephen Hayes' The Connection the article doesn't come as a shock to me. That's probably why I didn't go into detail about it. And the picture of the damn thing just looked freakishly odd.
