All I can say, is Rove and Bush better know what they are doing. And have a lot better information that we are seeing or is being leaked. Too late in the campaign to be bluffing. Why take a day to goto HI? If Bush is in trouble, then I would think there would be other swing/close states more attainable. And they'd spend their time there. If they are winning big, why bother? My guess is that HI is part of an "insurance strategy" in case they loose OH. They are trying to cobble enough other leaners (WI, IA, NM, and HI) together to make up for OH.

I may be wrong. But if HI goes Bush, then he is probably going to win 45-46 states. Maybe Bush and Rove know they have the election won. Maybe this is their "mandate" strategy. Win 45+ states, and it will be hard for the dems to say they stole the election, and Bush was nominated by the USSC. Also, they may be looking to build for the future 2008 candidate whoever that may be. Hopefully by Nov 3rd, we'll know. All I can say, is Bush and Rove are campaigning and acting as if they are 99% sure of victory. And that it won't be close.

Some might consider this move a bluff, maybe giving the appearance of a winning campaign when in fact the election is so close that one or two items of bad news for Bush and it swings for Kerry. I love GWB, but I am not a fan of Rove. If this turns out to be a bluff move and Bush loses ...
