The FBI is the ONLY Fed agency that has our nation's real security at heart, that's why they are involved in so many operations overseas - in an environment that used to be the sole property of the CIA. TURF WAR, and the CIA isn't on our side.
That's not what happened. They didn't tell the CIA or FBI anything. ABC provided them an edited copy of the tape, and ABC edited it for political reasons so as not to influence the election.
As I've pointed out in a number of responses, a federal felony has been committed, and I suggest ABC's lawyers check the relevent provisions of the PATRIOT Act.

Relax, the CIA had the full tape before ABC did since it was sent by satellite.
That is how they knew that ABC cut off 15 minutes, and that is how Drudge knew about the tape in the first place.
