"This is not something you just throw out there while people are voting," an ABC source explained to the Drudge Report. "
Translation 'this' = Any news which might in any way help Bush or hurt Kerry'
When the spokesman over at CBS was challenged about the plan to run the missing explosives story on Sunday night; he claimed there was no connection with the election, the facts just all came together this week, it was just a coincidence that they were airing an anti-Bush story 2 days before the election.
So what type of news do we show during an election?
Some woman pleading for her life, asking Tony Blair to pull the troops from Iraq?
Clips of bombed terrorist hideouts and then to hospital beds with kids in them?
Clips of empty ammo bunkers. (Empty of course because we lost them!)
Photos of 49 Iraqi soldiers layed out on the ground dead?
Many of these should be shown. I see the dead Iraqi soldiers and the crying woman and see the ruthless terrorists. Of course with all the media wagging their tongues, these casualties of war become "Bush's fault".
